Poonam Jhawer, a fitness enthusiast and Bollywood diva, is one of the most followed Bollywood actresses on social media. Poonam, who made her dreamy Bollywood debut with the action thriller “Mohra” opposite Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty, has come a long way in her career and sealed a spot among the greats with movies like “R Rajkumar,” “OMG: Oh My God,” and others. Her later work includes the 2003 movie “Aanch”, which was directed by Rajesh Kumar Singh. The movie starred Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, and Ayesha Jhulka. She made my debut as a producer with this movie, which has achieved great critical acclaim and did good business at the box office, being more well-liked in the northern part of India. Her role as Lata Thakur in the movie was one of the best parts. Well, not only “Aanch”, but she has also produced a Marathi movie titled “Sansarchi Maya”, which was released in October 2011.
She also starred in a Haryanvi movie titled “Muthbhed: A Planned Encounter,” which starred Mukesh Tiwari and Sanjay Sharma. During a long conversation with the media, Poonam Jhawer said, “I was born into a high-status business class and a Marwari Maheshwari family. So business always comes first whenever I think about any of my Bollywood projects. Her origin is actually from Rajasthan, but she carried out her schooling and college education in Mumbai. She began her professional career as a fashion model by doing a range of assignments for renowned brands such as Killer Jeans, Dove soap, Paneri sarees, and so on.
Moreover, she successfully carried out the task as a line producer and project designer for the movie “Road to Sangam,” which starred Paresh Rawal and Om Puri in lead roles. As a line producer, she has also released a Marathi film titled “EKA LAGNACHI GOSHT” and has been awarded the (Lakshabhedi Award). Her third Marathi film, “SAKHARAM TUKARAM AAGLAVE,” will be going on the floor soon.
